The river, forest, sea and Uppsalaåsen esker ridge have been, and are still, the obvious sources and reasons for the growth and rise of Älvkarleby Municipality. We work actively to ensure that Älvkarleby Municipality enjoys sustainable ecological, social and economic development in a way that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.
