We forage for roots and vegetables in nature and then cook a hearty meal together over an open fire. We’ll talk about different grilling techniques, cook a lot of vegetables (but of course also meat!) over the open fire and then enjoy our meal together.
Open fire is our oldest cooking technique, and is used even now across the globe. You can cook nearly anything on an open fire, and the combination of freshly picked roots and vegetables and fire is magical. Some grilled vegetables along with a bit of meat from a local farm? Or beets baked over the embers with a bit of goat cheese? We’ll put together a special meal for you based on your preferences and what the season has to offer. If you like, we can even prepare the meal in a cooking pit, a technique that is used in virtually all cultures worldwide.

Bring working gloves and weather-appropriate clothing. We’ll be outside!
