Strand Aktivitet, Karlholm Strand, is located along the Uppland coast in Tierp municipality and is run by me, Stig Nyberg, a retired sea captain. Karlholm is strategically located between Gävle, Uppsala and Arlanda. I’ve been paddling and sailing for most of my life. I started Strand Aktiviteter to offer visitors outdoor adventures in the northern Uppland countryside. The area is something of a forgotten gem, with islands, lakes, archipelagos and the Dalälven River, where you can paddle, sail, swim, fish, cycle and pretty much any other outdoor activity you can think of.
