At Lövstabruk Manor, you can join one of several different tours, either self-guided or with your own Lövstabruk Guide. You can scan QR codes to listen and learn more about the manor and the history of the de Geer family.
On the Open Manor tour, you can walk around the beautiful manor house and gardens at your own pace. You can scan QR codes using your mobile phone or tablet to listen and learn more. Manor hosts are on hand to answer questions whenever you’d like to know more. On the 90-minute Food History Tour, you’ll learn about kitchen and food history in the district – from manor house banquets to blacksmith’s lunch pails. The tour includes tastings. The industrial history tour Water, Coal, Ore has a focus on iron production. Learn about blast furnaces, smithies and Walloon forges. The manor is surrounded by a scenic natural landscape accentuated by its beautiful, lush gardens. During the Garden Tour, you will be guided through these gardens and learn more about them. We also offer two themed tours during the autumn and winter: the thrilling cellar tour Truth, Fairy Tale, Legend during the autumn school holidays, and the Manor Christmas Tour, where you’ll get to learn about historical Christmas preparations among both barons and blacksmiths. We also host a Christmas market on the second weekend of Advent.
